Capture devices heal themselves
- fix Pi agent v1.4.3: a device whose stored API endpoint had gone stale (after our platform APIs were re-provisioned) could look perfectly online — heartbeats and live preview working — while uploads silently stopped. The agent now detects a stale endpoint on startup and migrates itself to the stable one, so this entire failure mode is gone. Press Update Agent on the Devices page to pick it up; queued frames upload as soon as the agent reconnects, so nothing captured is lost.
- fix Phone and Pi devices now report their active capture session in every heartbeat, so the Devices page always follows the session that is actually recording — no more watching a stale session showing 0 images while frames land in the right one.

The Lapseleap mobile app enters staging beta
- feat Lapseleap now runs natively on iPhone (Android next): pick an interval, tap Start, and the app captures with the screen kept awake, burns in the timestamp, and uploads continuously. Frames queue on the phone first, so a dropped connection never loses a shot — they simply upload when the network returns.
- feat Your sessions and videos live in the app too: browse them newest-first, sort by date, size or image count, generate MP4s and GIFs with live progress, watch them right in the app — rotate to landscape for fullscreen — and save or share to your photo library.
- feat On the Studio plan the phone becomes a full remote camera: it appears on your Devices page, streams a live preview to the browser, and can be started and stopped from the web with a real-time frame counter — exactly like a Raspberry Pi station.
- feat One tap on Open website — already signed in in the app's Account page opens lapseleap.com with your session carried over — no second login.

Phone capture joins the Studio plan

Pi timestamp uses your local time
- fix The timestamp drawn on Pi frames now follows your browser's timezone (with correct daylight-saving) instead of whatever timezone the Pi's OS defaulted to. Agent v1.4.2 receives the IANA timezone as part of the capture settings and formats the overlay accordingly. Press Update Agent on the Devices page to pick it up.

Pi capture viewer polish
- fix The live viewer on the Capture step no longer letterboxes Pi frames with black bars top and bottom — the 16:9 stream now fills the container the same way the Camera Setup preview does.
- fix The timestamp is now also drawn on the live preview while capturing (agent v1.4.1), so what you see matches what gets saved. During Camera Setup the preview stays clean, so you can still frame the shot without the clock on top.

Timestamps on Pi captures + mobile nav everywhere
- fix The "Show date & time on frames" option now works when capturing from a Raspberry Pi. Previously the setting was only honoured by the browser webcam path and was silently dropped for Pi devices, so Pi frames arrived without an overlay even with the box ticked. Agent v1.4.0 draws the timestamp on each frame before upload — press Update Agent on the Devices page to pick it up.
- feat The mobile hamburger menu is now available on the Capture app and the Devices page too, mirroring every header link (including Settings, Sign out and the language picker) into the slide-in drawer. Phones no longer get a squashed header on those pages.

Stable admin dashboard + long-lived API routing
- fix The admin dashboard could return "Failed to load users" intermittently. The frontend proxy was caching upstream API Gateway IPs at container startup; after AWS rotated those IPs, some routes silently timed out. The proxy now re-resolves DNS on every request, so long-running containers keep working through IP changes.

Mobile-friendly across the board
- feat The whole site is now usable on phones. A new hamburger menu opens an accessible slide-in drawer with every primary link plus the language picker, the header is a single clean row at 320–430px, and the footer wraps gracefully instead of forcing a horizontal scrollbar.
- fix The pricing comparison and Help reference tables now scroll inside their own card on small screens instead of breaking page width, and Cloud-Radar images scale down to fit the viewport.

Smoother bulk delete + Pi-friendly date ranges
- fix The "Deleting N/N…" label on the bulk-delete button now clears as soon as the operation finishes, and the button hides itself when the selection is empty. Previously it stayed stuck until the page was refreshed.
- fix Selecting a custom date range when rendering a video or GIF from a Raspberry Pi session no longer drops every frame. The range filter now understands both browser and Pi filename formats.

Live Pi preview from Settings
- feat Opening a Raspberry Pi session from Settings now shows a live preview of the camera right on the Create page. The image count updates in real time while the Pi is capturing, so you can monitor a headless deployment and decide when to render the time-lapse without leaving the page.

Accurate session counts on Settings
- fix The Sessions list on Settings now shows the real number of uploaded images and the actual first/last upload times, read directly from S3. Previously these came from a cached counter that could drift below the truth when uploads were retried after a network drop, so totals occasionally appeared lower than what was actually stored. No data was ever lost — only the displayed number was off.

Admin activity tracking — fewer blind spots
- feat The admin Users table now shows true last activity for every signed-in user — not just people who upload. Every authenticated API call refreshes a server-side last seen timestamp (throttled to once per 5 minutes per user), so users who sign in and browse without capturing are no longer invisible.
- chore Retired the standalone Logins counter from the admin dashboard — it only reflected fresh sign-ins and missed silent token refreshes, which made it look like most users never logged in. Last Activity now folds in both upload activity and authenticated browsing for a more honest signal.
- feat Cloud-Radar is now reachable directly from the app shell with a Studio-aware banner that links the right users straight to the dashboard.

IP Cameras & Studio Billing Fix
- feat IP camera (RTSP) support — point a Raspberry Pi device at any RTSP-capable camera on the same LAN (EZVIZ, Reolink, Hikvision, Dahua, etc.) and Lapseleap pulls a frame on every capture interval. No extra hardware, no cloud relay.
- feat Camera source is now editable from the Devices page — choose Auto-detect (USB / Pi Camera) or IP camera (RTSP) when creating a device, or switch later from a new Camera source card in the device detail view. Changes reach the Pi on its next heartbeat (~30 s).
